Event Kingdom

“Celebrating Invitations” is what EK does and what drove founder Patrick von Ribbentrop to develop EventKingdom in 2006 and offer hosts and guests a platform to be able to enjoy beautiful and stylish event sites, invitations and letters digitally.

Our goal is for an event site, a digital invitation or letter to put a smile on each guest's face, just as a guest/recipient would smile if he/she were to find a large private letter in his/her mailbox.

In the beginning of 2006 the internet offered various possibilities for sending out digital invitations, but after having a look at them Patrick realized quickly that they were either boring, unsexy, public, primarily business related or combination of the above. They also did not offer Patrick the possibility to properly and personally address his guests, invite couples or use various communication tools! This fact finding is what primarily inspired Patrick to turn EK into what it is today - the worlds most stylish and useful event portal/community. Patrick also realized quickly that EK can be also be used to send stylish digital letters, e.g. thank you letters Christmas, engagement, newly born etc. or just to impress a love one.

EK stands out today not only for its style, great design and useful tools but also its concept.

Will guests/friends e.g. respect your invitation or thank you note if you just send them an email or post an invite to an existing network for free? They are probably receiving many of these daily (Facebook events?)! Similar to paper invites, which today give guests the feeling of being special, using EK includes buying stamps to send out the digital invitations and letters .
